Corporate Social Responsibility 2013
The Institute and its members are conscious and responsive to the needs of the society and of the nation as a whole. Some of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities undertaken by the Institute include; contribution towards the Famine Relief Fund and the 2007/2008 Post Violence, Kitty to assist the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), CSR activity at the Wema Centre in Mombasa where the Institute contributed foodstuffs and other consumables.
Corporate Social Responsibility during The 17th ICPSK Annual International Conference
During the 17th ICPSK Annual International Conference held on August 14-16, 2013 at the Whitesands Beach Resort and Spa, Mombasa, the Institute held a Corporate Social Responsibility event at the Wema Centre. Wema Centre is a Non Governmental Organization that was founded in 1993 as a response to an ever-increasing problem of street children in Mombasa and the Coast region. The Institute made donations of more than Ksh. 65,000 in cash and in kind and we invite members of the Institute to continue making their donations towards this worthy cause.
